Tropica's CO2 diffuser contains both a bubble counter, a check valve and a diffuser in one and the same unit. The bubble counter enables easy and precise dosing of CO2, as you can easily count the large bubbles in the chamber during the adjustment itself. A check valve ensures that water from the aquarium is not sucked backwards into the stroke, which can happen when the bottle runs empty, or if you use a solenoid valve to turn off the CO2 supply at night.
TIP: to ensure perfect adhesion to the glass, the glass must be clean and grease-free and the suction cups can be coated with an ultra-thin film of Vaseline to ensure adhesion.
