Springtails 80g Tub
Springtails are a small white tropical species from South America, approximately 4mm in length and are available in an 80g tub. Smaller than fruit flies, they are a nutritious food for small reptiles, young amphibians, fish and small insects.
They can also be used effectively as caretakers for damp or wet set-ups as well as with incubating eggs as they help clean up any waste by eating it!
Care tips:
As with all live food, it is essential they are kept healthy. Provided in a self-contained pot of peat, leave the Springtails in a cool place away from bright light. Don’t forget live food can be affected by cold weather.
